Many of you may have enjoyed a trip across our log bridge in the meadow area. If you go to take an adventure today, you might be surprised to find that the first bridge has been washed out and the second (pictured here) is in a state of disrepair!
In our last big storm, the stream flooded and the water was powerful enough to wash away our beloved log bridge (ridge runner James reminisces about our bridge). We will have to find a replacement for it now and have begun the search for a worthy tree. Our hope is that we might be able to get telephone poles that are weather resistant...we'll see what the future holds!
